What a wonderful event we had on Saturday night! We filled the community center with wonderful music, wine, food and fun! We had over 150 attendees and raised almost $30,000 for women cancer survivors!

We are so grateful to our musician, graduate and the brains behind this event, Joji Angeline! Her story and music were inspiring and uplifting. The sound was fantastic, thanks to Diego Hurtado and his team! The group of musicians Joji brought together were amazing and oh so talented! Dancing afterwards with Ephraim was so much fun! Who doesn’t love doing the YMCA? Also, a big thank you to Yvonne Lovato, her  son, and their assistant for the great food and service!

We were very lucky to have Kayla Teng – Miss Anaheim’s Teen, Arushi Somani – Miss Canyon Hills’ Teen, and Mary Kohaut – Miss Anaheim, attend our event. They were graciously posing for pictures and did a  fabulous job of selling raffle tickets and showcasing the silent auction items! We collected donations of $4,200 for raffle sales and silent auction bids! The girls were awesome and we so appreciate their energy and enthusiasm.

The wine flowed and the food was good! We had a mocktail created specifically for our event called the Purple Lotus. It was delicious. Everyone really had a wonderful time and it was great connecting with old friends and making new ones!

We could not have done this without lots of help from volunteers! Thank you to all who helped make this event so special! It truly was amazing and we could not have done it without all this help.
