Women Cancer Survivors

Healing Odyssey is a powerful weekend retreat for women cancer survivors!  Network with other women, learn strategies for coping with, recovering from, and surviving cancer.

Give yourself permission to take three days away from the stresses and responsibilities of day-to-day living to safely explore your thoughts and feelings, to laugh, to cry, to be a girl at camp again—to rediscover and reclaim YOU in a safe and supportive atmosphere, with a network of other women cancer survivors.

Learn skills and strategies to cope with and survive cancer.  Get support from other women cancer survivors who are going through similar issues.  Learn how to recover emotionally from cancer and live life to the fullest.

This active weekend program consists of activities that focus on your mental, social, physical and spiritual well being, and boost your recovery from the impact of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Sessions include small and large group discussions such as “Coping with Fear,” “Getting in Touch with Spirituality” and “Reclaiming Sexuality,” along with guided imagery, yoga, and a Saturday night celebration.  Each session builds on the previous ones and teaches strategies to  cope, survive, and recover from the challenges of cancer.

The thread that weaves the weekend together is the Ropes Course, a powerful personal and teamwork experience that will unforgettably represent the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery of health.  Get the support you need and network  with other women cancer survivors.
